President Barzani receives Australian Ambassador to Iraq

On June 26, 2021 in Salahadeen, President Masoud Barzani received Ms Paula Ganly, Australian Ambassador to Iraq.

During the meeting, they discussed the political situation in Iraq and the region, the threats and challenges facing the Iraqi political process, and ways to achieve political stability in Iraq.

In the same meeting, President Barzani expressed his thanks to the Australian people and government for their assistance to Iraq within the framework of the international coalition, in overcoming difficulties as well as during the war against ISIS and other terorrist group. 

The two sides expressed their hope that development and stability would be achieved in Iraq.
