Kurdistan Democratic Party's statement on the drone attack on Erbil

Yesterday Morning, June 26, three drones attacked Erbil, Capital of the Kurdistan Region. The attack resulted in damaging civilian properties in the village of Bragh on the outskirts of the city.

We, as the Kurdistan Democratic Party, strongly condemn these terrorist acts that carried out by these outlaw groups. We emphasize that it is necessary for all the concerned parties and the Federal Government to take this and similar attacks seriously and work together to investigate and prevent such terrorist attacks and bring the perpetrators to justice.

These acts clearly aim at weakening the stability and security of the Kurdistan Region. These illegal and destructive actions have, unfortunately, been repeated several times, and it is the responsibility of the Federal Government to prevent such groups and forces that intend to destroy the stability of Kurdistan in particular and Iraq in general.
