President Masoud Barzani's message on the occasion of the birth of Christ

 In the name of of Allah, most merciful and compassionate

 

 On the occasion of the New Year and the birthday of Christ, I extend my warmest congratulations to all the Christian brothers and sisters in Kurdistan, Iraq and the world. I wish them happiness, contentment and peace.

 

 On this day, I emphasis the need to deepen the culture of coexistence and brotherhood between all components in Kurdistan, and I hope that our Christian brothers and sisters celebrate all their holidays and celebrations in peace and tranquility. I hope that this event will usher the beginning of the end of misery, suffering and oppression around the world, while spreading peace and acceptance to one another.
