Statement from the Political Bureau of the Kurdistan Democratic Party.

The Political of the Kurdistan Democratic Party issued a statement today, Friday, January 14, 2022, denouncing the recent attacks on the headquarters of the Kurdistan Democratic Party and other parties in Baghdad. 

 

 Once again, things far from political morality and coexistence and contrary to the law occurred against the headquarters of our Party in Baghdad and the headquarters of other political parties, and these headquarters were exposed to armed attacks.

 

 We in the Political Bureau of the Kurdistan Democratic Party see the attack on the headquarters of our Party and other parties as an act of sabotage and we condemn it. To the perpetrators and those whom committed such acts, we say these methods and behaviors are not a way to solve problems, but rather they complicate matters further.

The concerned institutions in the federal government must find the perpetrators of these attacks, arrest them and punish them according to the law.

 

 The protection of our headquarters and the lives of our cadres and other parties is their responsibility and they must protect it.
