A statement from President Masoud Barzani to the peoples of Iraq and Kurdistan

In the name of Allah, the gracious, the merciful

In order to solve the problems and provide a suitable and good environment for Iraq's political process, I have presented a political initiative. In the context of this initiative, I suggest the President of the Kurdistan Region Nechirvan Barzani and the Speaker of the Iraqi House of Representatives Mohammed Al-Halbousi visit Said Muqtada al-Sadr and consult with him on how to continue the political process and eliminate obstacles and problems. Also, to find suitable solutions to move forward and serve the country and its people.

I hope this initiative will provide positive results and be in the interest of all Iraq.
