On Saturday, February 5, 2022, President Masoud Barzani welcomed Humam Al-Hamoudi, President of the Supreme Islamic Council of Iraq and his accompanying delegation.

The meeting discussed the latest developments and changes in Iraq's political process and shed light on the constitutional steps taken after the Iraqi parliamentary elections.

The meeting also emphasized the closeness, cooperation and continuity of relations between the political parties, in order to overcome the challenges and improve Iraq's political process.
