President Masoud Barzani welcomes Mr. Karel Kortanek from the Czech Republic Consulate

On Sunday, February 6, 2022, President Barzani welcomed Mr. Karel Kortanek, Czech Republic Consul, in Salahaddin.

 

The meeting discussed the political situation in Iraq and the latest political developments.

 

The meeting also highlighted the capabilities and willingness of the Kurdistan Peshmerga forces to fight terrorist groups. The Czech consul acknowledged great appreciation to the bravery of the Kurdistan Peshmerga in the war against terrorists.

 

And lastly, relations between the Kurdistan Regional Government and the Czech Republic were another topic of the meeting.
