United States Ambassador to Iraq stated that his country is carefully observing and concerned about Iraq's political events

On Wednesday, February 16, 2022, President Masoud Barzani welcomed U.S. Ambassador to Iraq, Mathew Tuller in Salahaddin.

 

In the meeting attended by Robert Paladino, the U.S. Consul General in Erbil, the situation in Iraq, the latest developments and equations in Iraq's political process and the constitutional steps were discussed after the first session of the Iraqi House of Representatives.

 

The meeting also emphasized the need for cooperation and relations between political parties and Iraqi components.

 

The U.S. Ambassador to Iraq also said the United States is committed to the security, stability and developments of Iraq and the Kurdistan Region.
