President Masoud Barzani welcomes the US Commander of Coalition Forces in Iraq and Syria

On Tuesday, March 1, 2022, in Salahaddin, President Masoud Barzani received Major General Brennan, US Commander of Coalition Forces in Iraq and Syria.

In the meeting, the current situation facing ISIS terrorists in Syria and Iraq were discussed.

The meeting also emphasized the cooperation and joint work of the Iraqi forces and the Kurdistan Peshmerga forces, as well as reform steps taken by the Ministry of Peshmerga.

The guest delegation reaffirmed the friendship and partnership between the Peshmerga forces and coalition forces.
