An announcement from the Interior Ministry of the Kurdistan Regional Government

The early hours of March 13, 2022, after 1:00 a.m., 12 long-range ballistic missiles were fired from the east at the new US Consulate building in Erbil and civilian areas near the headquarters of the Kurdistan Channel 24. As a result, material damage was done to the buildings and houses of the area. Fortunately, there were no casualties and only one civilian was lightly injured and we wish him safety and a speedy recovery.

The police and security agencies have began investigations and will notify the public of the results.
