On Sunday, March 13, 2022, President Masoud Barzani called Said Muqtada al-Sadr by phone.

From the conversation, opinions on last night's missile attack on Erbil were exchanged and both sides agreed that an investigation committee should be formed to reveal the truth about the alleged Israeli headquarters in Erbil and that it was an excuse to attack Erbil.
