President Barzani and Jean Asselborn reiterate the needs to end the obstacles to Iraq's political process

President Masoud Barzani welcomes Luxembourg Foreign Ninister

 

On Wednesday, March 30, 2022, President Masoud Barzani welcomed Luxembourg Foreign Minister, Jean Asselborn.

 

The meeting exchanged views on the political situation in Iraq and the region, the various crises, the war between Russia and Ukraine and it's affects on the international stage.

 

Regarding the situation in Iraq, both sides reiterate the needs to end the obstacles to Iraq's political process and the incoming Iraqi government responsibilities to solve the problems in the country and work to apply the constitution to serve all Iraqis.

 

The situation of the Yezidis and refugees from Shingal was another topic of that meeting.
