Statement of the Kurdistan Regional Security Council:

Last night's terrorist attack on Erbil is a continuation of the attacks carried out to put pressure on the Kurdistan Region.

 

 The drone used in the attack was directed at Erbil by Hezbollah militia in the town of Parde.

 After the attack, several official websites belonging to a regional force, as in the past, reported that an Israeli Mossad vehicle was targeted and one person was allegedly killed.  They may be able to feed these lies to their public opinion, but for the people of Erbil and the region who have seen the location, type of attack and its consequences with their own eyes, these news have become ridiculous.

 

 Those who make this claim want to cover up their failures and weaknesses, otherwise let them maintain security in the outskirts of the capital and their cities.

 

 The Kurdistan Region will never be a position to threaten the countries of the region, and at the same time we declare that these countries must respect the sovereignty of the territory of the Kurdistan Region, the people and Iraq.
