Nechirvan Barzani: “We are providing all kinds of support and assistance to achieve a peaceful solution”

Prime Minister, Nechirvan Barzani, today, received a delegation; Salahuddin Dimertash, chairman of the Peace and Democratic Party (PDP), and his accompanying staff.

During the meeting, the Prime Ministter and the delegation discussed the latest developments of the peace process, and the steps needed to resolve the on-going Kurdish issue in Turkey. Dimertash also informed the Prime Minster that, when he visited Mr. Ocalan Imrari, he sent his greetings to President Barzani. Dimertash also expressed his thankfulness and gratitude for the support from the Kurdistan Regional Government, for their role and efforts to resolve the Kurdish issue in Turkey; stressing that the forthcoming days may see more progress in the peace process thanks to the role and duty played by the KRG’s support and cooperation.

Nechirvan Barzani was delighted from the efforts established by the PDP, of Turkey, towards the resolution of Kurds in Turkey. He also emphasised the continued efforts of the KRG.
