USA will continue to support and coordinate with the Kurdistan Regional Government Ambassador Alina Romanawski.

President Masoud Barzani received the new US Ambassador to Iraq, Ms. Alina L. Romanawski.

 In the meeting, which was also attended by Robert Paladino, US Consul General in Erbil, President Barzani congratulated the new US Ambassador on her appointment and wish her success in her new duties.

 The political situation in Iraq and the latest developments in the Iraqi political process were another topic of the meeting and President Barzani expressed his views on the political process and the solution of the political crisis in Iraq.

 In the same meeting, the US Ambassador to Iraq, while referring to the stability of the Kurdistan Region, stressed that her country will continue to support and coordinate with the Kurdistan Regional Government and strengthen and develop relations in various fields.
