President Barzani receives the Speaker of Kurdistan Parliament

President Masoud Barzani received today in Salahadin, Dr. Rewaz Fayeq, Speaker of Kurdistan Parliament.

During the meeting, the issue of writing the constitution of the Kurdistan Region was discussed, and the need to pave the way for cooperation and consensus between the political parties and social components in the Kurdistan Region on writing the constitution.

President Barzani also expressed his support for the Kurdistan Parliament and for any attempt to pave the way for writing the constitution by the  supreme institutions and political parties in the Kurdistan Region, a role they have played in the past.
