A Statement from Barzani Headquarters

This is not the first time the Kurdistan Region has been hit by missiles and bombings by Iranian forces. We condemn these attacks and bombings because they have killed and injured innocent civilians, women and children, and this is in fact a crime. At the same time, these attacks and bombings violate the principles of neighborliness, friendship and sovereignty and have no justification and are against the interests and stability of the Kurdistan Region.

 

 We declare that missile attacks will not solve the problems and such acts should no longer be used as they produce nothing but crime and instability. We call for an immediate stop to these attacks and Kurdistan Region should no longer be used as an arena for resolving internal problems and conflicts in neighboring countries.
