Statement from the Political Bureau of the Kurdistan Democratic Party

The attacks and bombings of the Islamic Republic of Iran on the Kurdistan Region in both Erbil and Sulaimani provinces violate the sovereignty of the Kurdistan Region and Iraq, while the killing of innocent women and children is a criminal act against humanity and carries no justification.

 We in the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) condemn these attacks and bombings and consider them as a disregard for the principles of neighborhood and friendship.

 Problems cannot be solved by creating complications across borders, but the best way to solve them is through dialogue and mutual acceptance, even in the presence of differences.

 Finally, we express our deep sorrow and concern for all the loss of life and property caused to the residents of these areas.
