President Barzani received the Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Iraq, Ambassador Ali Reza Guney .

During the meeting political developments in Iraq, the latest steps in the formation of the new federal government, the draft agreement prepared between the Kurdish and Sunni parties and the Coordination  Framework based on the constitution were discussed.

 Relations between the Kurdistan Region and the Republic of Türkiye were another topic of the meeting and both sides emphasised the importance of strengthening economic and trade relations between the Kurdistan Region and Türkiye.
