Message of President Barzani on the 43rd Anniversary of the Genocide of the Faily Kurds

The disappearance of thousands of Faily youth and the expulsion and deprivation of identity of hundreds of thousands of Faily Kurdish brothers and sisters by the former Iraqi regime were part of a series of organized crimes committed by successive Iraqi governments to dissolve and destroy the Kurdish people in the 20th century.

 The Faily Kurdish brothers and sisters have suffered a lot within the Iraqi state and their only crime was being Kurds.  The Iraqi government must fulfill its duty to compensate and resolve the problems and eliminate legacy of genocide of the Failis Kurds as soon as possible.

 On the 43rd anniversary of the genocide of the Faily Kurds, we salute and bow down to the souls of the martyrs of the Faily Kurds.  The role and loyalty of the Faily brothers and sisters to the cause of their nation and the Kurdish liberation movement is always worthy of pride and appreciation.
