President Barzani congratulates the Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Iraq

President Masoud Barzani spoke to the Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Iraq Mohammed Shia Al Sudani. In the telephone conversation, President Barzani described the signing of the agreement between the Kurdistan Regional Government and the Federal Iraqi Government on oil exports as a historic step.  He also thanked the Iraqi Prime Minister for his efforts to resolve the issues and make this important agreement a success.

 President Barzani said that if there is goodwill and will to resolve the issues, it will be easy and possible to resolve the issues and hoped that the agreement will become a gateway to resolve all outstanding issues between the Kurdistan Region and the Iraqi Federal Government.

 In the same telephone conversation, President Barzani reiterated his support for the efforts and steps of the Iraqi Prime Minister.
