President Barzani issues a message on the anniversary of the bombing of Qaladze and Sulaimani University

 On the anniversary of the bombing of Qaladze and Sulaimani University on 24/4/1974, We salute the souls of the martyrs of that tragedy committed by the former Iraqi government and all the martyrs of the Kurdistan liberation movement.  This tragedy was a hideous crime and injustice.  It was another page of the Ba'ath regime's brutality against the Kurdish people.

The strength and will of the Kurdish people were far more stronger than aircraft and the bomb and finally the will of Kurdistan triumphed over oppression and occupation.
