A clarification from Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) spokesman

It is obvious to everyone that our party, the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP), made every effort to hold the elections on time at the end of the fifth term of the Kurdistan Parliament according to the prescribed legal deadlines.

We won't go back to talking about it now and our concern for the process, but we call on all parties and citizens of Kurdistan to cooperate and facilitate the holding of clean and fair elections, and we call on the government and relevant institutions to take necessary steps in order to make the process a success. We emphasize that what is important for our party is the conduct of the Kurdistan parliamentary elections.
