Acknowledging our responsibility for the lives and livelihoods of Kurdistan citizens, our party has made great efforts to ensure that the 2023 budget law is in accordance with the constitutional entitlements, the agreement of the state administration to form the cabinet, the agreement between the Kurdistan Regional Government and the federal government, and to ensure that the Kurdistan Regional Government receives its financial entitlements.

On the other hand, our party tried very seriously to thwart the conspiracies that were organized to interfere in the sovereignty of the Region, reduce the size of the Region and reduce its powers enshrined in the constitution.

Although the budget is not meeting our expectations because the draft budget text that was prepared by the Federal Council of Ministers should not have been changed, but in order to enable the government to provide compensations and continue investment, we decided to vote for the budget.

We would like to thank our KDP Bloc in the Iraqi Parliament and our ministerial Bloc in the federal government for their dedication and tireless role. We wish them success.
