President Masoud Barzani met with Ambassador Mohammed Kazim Al Sadiq ambassador the Islamic Republic of Iran to Iraq along with his accompanying delegation

During their meeting, the Iranian Ambassador expressed gratitude to President Barzani and the Kurdistan Region for their support in accommodating and assisting Iranian pilgrims. He emphasized the importance of strengthening the ties between the Kurdistan Region and the Islamic Republic of Iran.

 

The discussion also touched upon regional political developments, the relationship between the Kurdistan Regional Government and the Federal Government of Iraq, and the imperative to address outstanding issues between the two entities.
