A delegation of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) Foreign Relations Office led by Hoshyar Siwaily, Head of the Foreign Relations Office, visited the Russian Consulate General in Erbil to express condolences to the victims of the terrorist attack near Moscow.

On behalf of the leadership of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP), Hoshyar Siwaily expressed his condolences and condemned the inhuman acts and said that such attacks show the fact that more coordination is needed to fight terrorists.

Mr Siwaily recorded the following statement in the book of condolences:

On behalf of the leadership of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP), we extend our condolences to the families of the victims of this terrorist attack and wish a speedy recovery to the injured.

We share sorrow and sadness with the people and government of the Russian Federation.)

Siwaily reiterated the policy and position of President Barzani and the KDP and said that terrorism has no borders, religion or nation.

"Terrorists are always looking for an opportunity to attack innocent people and disrupt peace and security, and we have suffered a lot at the hands of terrorists," he said.  We share your grief and stand with the people and government of the Russian Federation on this sad occasion and emphasize our support and continued coordination in the fight against terrorism
