Masrour Barzani meets Serbian Ambassador to Iraq

The Chancellor of Kurdistan Region Security Council Masrour Barzani Masrour Barzani received Serbia’s Ambassador to Iraq Radisav Petrovaj and his accompanying delegation.

During the meeting, the two sides stressed the relations between the Kurdistan-Region and Serbia, with the need to raise the level of relations between the two sides when Serbia opens their consulate in the Region.

For his part, Mr Barzani expressed his happiness for the continuation of relations between the Region and Serbia, wishing to promote and consolidate these relations more, in all areas of economic, social and cultural rights to provide the best development for the future for both sides.

Mr Barzani said at the meeting an economic and political delegation from Kurdistan to visit Serbia in return for benefit from the experiences of the parties.

For his part, Ambassador Petrovaj admired the stability in the Kurdistan Region and that Serbia are motivated and encouraged for their companies to invest in the region, and that this atmosphere of security in Kurdistan is a model, and must at all parts of Iraq to take advantage of this experience.
