Hemin Hawrami, Head of KDP Foreign Relations Office received a delegation of

Diplomats from the Islamic Republic of Iran headed by Mr Ali Panahi.

During the meeting, Mr Hawrami welcomed the delegation and his associates then

Referring to the historical ties between the two sides. He noted the importance

Of exchange visits between them.

The current political situation in Kurdistan and the development of bilateral

Relations was the focus of meeting where Mr Hawrami talked of the importance and

Appreciation for Iran's assistance after the Halabja chemical bombardment by the

Forces of the deposed Saddam regime.

The Iranian official expressed his satisfaction and appreciation for the visit and reception.
