Massoud Barzani: calls parties to act as representatives of the Kurdish nation and not representatives of their parties and political forces

. Massoud Barzani, President of Kurdistan region met on Thursday25th July  with the Preparatory Commission for the Kurdish National Conference for the initial stages of the work of the Committee, and called parties in the region to act as representatives of the Kurdish nation and not representatives of their parties and political forces, stressing it puts everyone in high national interest in mind, working in the spirit of one team and not trying to impose his own agenda by any party on the Committee.

President Barzani, expressed support for the Kurdistan Presidency for all steps in the direction of the Conference cycle, and the necessary facilities to support the success of the Kurdish National Conference Preparatory Committee and all political forces to continue the dialogue for the success of the Conference.

The members of the Preparatory Committee for the Conference, Kurdish nationalist views and their views and offered suggestions on logistics, and agreed that the success of the Conference would be an important goal for everyone, and not allow any party to put obstacles to the Conference due to the Kurdish nation as a whole and the friends in the world are waiting for the call in this historic step initiated by political parties of all parts of Kurdistan.

The members of the Preparatory Committee on their work is limited to logistical and administrative matters for the Conference, not political decisions about the duties and axis and, therefore, the Committee demanded that all political parties in Kurdistan not to seek to put obstacles blocking the success of the Conference, the participants have assured President Barzani that they are doing their best to hold the Kurdish National Conference at the earliest opportunity and to ensure its success.
