President Barzani receives the Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Iraq

President Masoud Barzani received Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Iraq Mohammed Shia Sudani in Salahaddin on Wednesday, November 13, 2024.

The meeting discussed the political situation in Iraq and the latest developments in the region, and also stressed that positive steps have been taken in the relations and coordination between the Kurdistan Regional Government and the Federal Government of Iraq.

Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Sudani congratulated President Barzani on the success of the Kurdistan parliamentary elections and hoped that the parties would reach an agreement to form a new cabinet as soon as possible.
