French Ambassador to Iraq: says terrorism cannot undermine the security and stability of the Kurdistan-Region

Chancellor of Kurdistan Region Security Council Masrour Barzani received the French Ambassador to Iraq Koigh Daynille and his accompanying delegation.

During the meeting, Ambassador Daynille expressed his happiness for the Kurdistan Democratic Party's success in recent legislative elections; describing the process of the election as a democratic model in the region.

The French delegation during the meeting were confident of the success of protecting security and stability in the region, not a allowing any chances for sectarian violence and terrorism.

Mr Barzani said of the crisis in Iraq, that Kurdistan supports resolving the dilemmas and problems in the region through peace and democracy, especially on the Syrian situation that it was hoped the regional and international assistance will end the suffering of Syrian people
