KDP delegation participate at Socialist International conference

 

At the official invitation from the Socialist International council, a delegation from the Kurdistan Democratic Party took part in their conference held in Istanbul.

The KDP delegation consisted of Hemin Hawrami, head of Foreign Relations Office and members from the KDP branch based in Turkey, including Omar Mirani, and  Lataw Barzani and Mena Sami from KDP’s FRO, who on the sidelines of the meeting held talks with Secretary-General of Socialist International Mr Louis Ayala.

Mr Alaya offered his congratulations to the KDP on recent election results and expressed his greetings to President Massoud Barzani and the leadership council.

The delegation also met with representatives of many parties including the Communist Party of China, the Turkish Republican People's Party, and the Social Democratic Party of Armenia to discuss relations between all sides.
