Hawrami on current Kurdistan-Region talks with German Consul

Hemin Hawrami held a meeting with Germany’s Consul-General in Kurdistan, Mr Alfred Simms -Protz, at Kurdistan Democratic Party’s Foreign Relations Office in Permam  that was attended by other office members.

Mr Hawrami, head of the foreign relations office, discussed the role and efforts of President Massoud Barzani in uniting Kurds in Syria, in particular, agreements stipulated at the National Conference and consolidation of positions in the Geneva Conference.

In another aspect of the meeting, Mr Hawrami reflected upon relations of KDP and its position on the Iraqi elections and the provincial Council of Kurdistan which is scheduled for the end of April next year, including, the relations between Erbil and Baghdad.

The peace process in Turkey was the conclusive topic where Mr Barzani’s efforts again were highlighted.

Mr Simms thanked the KDP Foreign Relations Office for clarifications of the current situation in the reion and wished to continue exchange of visits between the two sides.
