Mirani receives German Consul-General to Kurdistan

Fadil Mirani, secretary of the political-bureau of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, met with General Consul of Germany to Kurdistan, Alfred Simms -Protz.

During the meeting, which was attended by a number of the political bureau’s members, Mirani welcomed the guests and discussed the current political situation and developments in Kurdistan.

Mr Mirani stressed on the  legislative elections held in Kurdistan this past September and said that all contributions were to the success of the campaign and are currently participating in forming the next Kurdistan Regional Government.

Mirani said the KDP is to meet with all parties without distinction, saying that the KDP wishes for everyone involved for a better future and that is the election slogan.

The German Consul expressed his thanks and greetings for the government and said Germany's leadership wishes further progress for the KDP
