In a meeting to discuss the current political situation in the Kurdistan-Region,
Head of Kurdistan Democratic Party’s Foreign Relations Office, Hemin Hawrami
received Turkey’s two vice Consul-Generals in Kurdistan, Mr Mustafa Toker and
Mr. Eyup Ozcimen.
Their meeting reviewed bilateral relations between the two sides, legislative
elections in Iraq and forming the next regional government.
Mr Hawrami also held talks with the consul-general of Romania, Mr Mihaita Ena,
with topics including security and stability in Kurdistan and foreign investment
where up to 70 Romanian companies are now operating in the region.
This concluded with talks focused on ways to improve and formalize
communications between Kurdistan and Romania. The two sides in addition
discussed the exchange of visits.
