Following talks in the Netherlands with the Kurdish community, Hemin Hawrami touched on the Kurdish-liberation movement and the role of the leader, Mustafa Barzani, on his thirty-fifth commemoration in a seminar organised by the Kurdistan Democratic Party’s Netherlands Committee.
Speaking in Amsterdam, at the seminar, the Head of KDP’s Foreign Relations Office, Mr Hawrami spoke of the current situation in Kurdistan and its relationship with Iraq, in particular, the current crisis between Erbil and Baghdad.
Mr Hawrami was also in talks of discussing bilateral relations between Kurdistan and the Netherlands with the Dutch Democratic Party ‘D66’ in addition to formally requesting support for recognition of the chemical bombardment and Anfal against the Kurds from parliamentarians of the D66 party..
