President Barzani receives Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Erbil

President Masoud Barzani received today, Thursday, in Salahuddin, Faramarz Asadi, the new Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Erbil.

During the meeting, President Barzani congratulated the Iranian Consul and wished him success in his new duties.

President Barzani also stressed the importance of relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Kurdistan Region.

"Developments and changes in the Middle East and the region in general" were another focus of the meeting.
