Barzani holds Iraqi crisis talks with al-Nujaifi

 

Kurdistan-Region President Massoud Barzani received a delegation from Iraq led by Parliament speaker, Osama al-Nujaifi, and his allied coalition party to discuss the recent turmoil in the country.

The two sides exchanged views on solving the problems in Iraq by political means, and urged all parties to cooperate in the fight against terrorism.

Mr Barzani stressed that the current crisis can only be resolved by non-military means and there is a necessity to address the root of its causes.
