Fuad Al AMajali praised the sacrifices of the Peshmerga forces in the war against ISIS terrorists, and thanked the Kurdistan Region for hosting hundreds of thousands of displaced people and refugees. 

President Masoud Barzani receives the Jordanian Consul General in Erbil, Fouad Al Majali, and his accompanying delegation.During the meeting, the Jordanian Consul General valued President Barzani's role in the struggle of the people of Kurdistan for freedom,

stability and the growth of the Kurdistan region. He also praised the sacrifices of the Peshmerga forces in the war against ISIS terrorists, and thanked the Kurdistan Region for hosting hundreds of thousands of displaced people and refugees. 

 

 Also, in the meeting, reference was made to historical relations that unite the people of Kurdistan and the Kingdom of Jordan, and the old friendship between the leaders. They also discussed ways to strengthen relations in various fields.

 

 The two sides discussed the political situation in Iraq and the challenges facing the political process.
