President Barzani receives Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Iraq

President Masoud Barzani received British Ambassador to Iraq Stephen Hitchens in Salahaddin on Wednesday.

The meeting discussed the political and security situation, the latest developments in the region, as well as the situation of the Kurdish people in Syria and the threats to regional stability.

The meeting also exchanged views on the steps to form the next cabinet of the Kurdistan Regional Government and the issues between the federal government and the Kurdistan Regional Government.

Ambassador Hitchens bade farewell to President Barzani as his mission in Iraq has come to an end. President Barzani wished the Ambassador success.
