Letter from the President of Kurdistan to the people of Kurdistan

 

In the name of God the Beneficial the Merciful

Dear people of Kurdistan

In the face of the vicious attacks from terrorists, the Peshmerga of Kurdistan valiantly defended themselves with the support of the international community, and allied nations. In dependence from God, the willpower of the Kurdish people, and the mighty force of the Peshmerga will result in the defeat of the terrorists.

I congratulate the progress made by the Peshmerga, who sacrificed their lives to save many of our Yezidi brothers during the Sinjar catastrophe. I also have to thank the United States of America, and allied forces that helped us save them.

After the tragic events of Sinjar, we lost our brothers and sisters. Consequently, we have set up a inquiry committee to investigate, and suspend the officials who failed to protect the citizens and the Peshmerga in the Sinjar area.

What happened in Sinjar hurt us as a nation. Their lives will not be forgotten.
