John Kerry reaffirms US alliance support for Kurds in telephone conversation with President Barzani

Saturday 13 September - President of the Kurdistan Region, Massoud Barzani, spoke with John Kerry, United States Secretary of State, during a telephone conversation, on his visit to Baghdad. The two sides exchanged views on the formation of the Iraqi government.

Mr Kerry also mentioned the Alliance’s support for Kurdistan and Iraq against their war on terror.
