Hemin Hawrami, head of Kurdistan Democratic Party's foreign relations office, held two separate meetings with the Italian Consul-General to Kurdistan, Carmelo Vicara and his Jordanian counterpart, Faez Elkhori, to discuss the latest political developments surrounding Kurdistan and Iraq.
At the meeting, which was attended by FRO members, Mr Hawrami expressed thanks for their support on the military assistance in their battle against 'Islamic State' militants and for humanitarian aid in response to the internally displaced citizens as a result of the conflict.
Mr Hawrami highlighted on the victories achieved by Kurdish Peshmerga and that they'll succeed in defending democracy and freedom, and said with the support of international allies they can defeat terrorists as he requested they continue providing weaponry for forces on the frontline.
Mr Vicara praised the courage of Peshmerga and said the Italian government will continue to support refugees in Kurdistan.
Referring to the historic relations between Kurdistan and Jordan, Mr Elkhori said it's the only region respected for peaceful coexistence and fraternity.
Both meetings concluded with talks on the internal outstanding issues between Erbil and Baghdad
