Hawrami expresses appreciation for Iran in support against ISIS

Head of the Kurdistan Democratic Party Foreign Relations Office, Hemin Hawrami, accompanied with members of the FRO, visited the Iranian Consulate in Erbil. The FRO delegation was received by the Iranian General Consul, Morteza Abbad.

Hawrami expressed greetings and congratulatory messages on behalf of the Kurdistan Democratic Party’s leadership, on the occasion of his new position, and Hawrami wished him success in his new role. The meeting continued with both sides expressing the development of relations, and correlated the relations with historical ties between the Kurds and the Persians.

Hawrami thanked Iran for supporting Kurdistan in its war against terrorism. The meeting concluded with Abbad thanking Hawrami and the delegation for their visit, and emphasised Iran’s support for the total eradication of terrorism.
