Hawrami: Kurdistan is safe and protected

Consisting of two separate meetings Hemin Hawrami, head of Kurdistan Democratic

Party’s Foreign Relations Department received the Romanian Consul Mehata Ene ,

and  Robert R Pingeon  the Chairman of European Relations of U.S. Republican Party.

During the meeting, Hawrami   highlighted the   latest developments of the

political and military situation, in the region and also discussed relations

between Arbil and Baghdad, and neighboring countries. The areas where Peshmerga

of Kurdistan regained ground lost to the terrorist group ISIS were also

discussed. The Romanian Consul praised the heroic actions of Peshmerga forces,

and expressed that the Kurdistan Region’s defence of Kurdistan is a historic

action, and stressed the importance of cooperation between the two sides.

During the second meeting with the Head of European Relations of the U.S.

Republican Party, the pair discussed the relations between the Kurdistan

Democratic Party and the Republican Party.
