President Barzani presented a speech at the Kurdish Dispora Confederation Congress

In Erbil on Saturday, December 4, 2021, under the auspices of President Masoud Barzani, the Congress of the Kurdish Dispora Confederation began its work.

 

At the conference, President Barzani gave a speech to the audience and members of the congress. President Barzani congratulated the holding of the Kurdish Dispora Confederation Congress in Erbil and announced that the aim of the congress is to organize and determine its duties to the diaspora in a way that serves the Kurdistani cause and people. He emphasized that the Kurdistani diaspora is an important national wealth of support to the people of Kurdistan. The people of Kurdistan have never chosen a war and they have not claimed anyone's land but have always defended themselves from extinction. 

 

In his speech, President Barzani called for a peaceful and democratic solution to the Kurdish issue in all parts, and that war would not be a solution to the Kurdish issues and conflicts. 

 

 He also demanded that the conflict with the regime not be hostile to the nations in any way. President Barzani also reiterated that the Kurdish people are proud of the culture of religious and ethnic peaceful coexistence and must protect our old and valuable culture. 

 

President Barzani hoped that loyal Kurdish diaspora defend Kurdistan and respect the laws of the countries in which the live. He also emphasized that young people and children should be encouraged to study and not forget Kurdistani culture and languages. President Barzani said it was necessary to try to find friends for the Kurdish people abroad and remind governments of those countries to support the recognition of genocide and crimes committed against the Kurdistani people.  

 

At the end of his speech, President Barzani commemorated the recent martyrs in Garmian and Makhmur, who were killed by ISIS terrorists, and assured the Kurdistani people that the perpetrators will be brought to justice.
