KDP foreign relations office thanks European states for supporting Kurdistan fight against terrorism

Kurdistan Democratic Party’s Head of Foreign Relations Office Hemin Hawrami received a delegation from the European Parliament led by Swedish Parliamentarian Robert Halef for talks on the political, security and military developments in the Kurdistan Region.

During the meeting, which was attended by various foreign relations office members, Hawrami expressed his gratitude and delight to the European representatives’ visit to the Kurdistan Region, so that they can closely observe the situation on the ground and the latest developments.

The parliamentary delegation reiterated that Europe views the Kurdistan Region Peshmerga forces with respect and appreciation as they continue to fight against ISIS, on behalf of the free world. They added that the Peshmerga forces fights against the terrorist organisation have been efficient and that they have proven that ISIS is not a force that cannot be defeated.

Hawrami expressed Kurdistan government and people's gratitude for the military and humanitarian assistance that Europe provides to Kurdistan Region.
