Lebanese prime minister says his country supports Kurdistan in every aspect

The Prime Minister of Lebanon Tammam Salam told the Bass news agency on the sidelines of the security conference held in Munich that his government supports the Kurdistan Region in every aspect as they continue to battle against Islamic extremists.

Mr Salam met Kurdistan Region President Massoud Barzani and held brief talks on the current developments in the region and the military progress of Peshmerga forces, adding Lebanon will support them in every aspect.

The 51st security conference in Munich is a three-day event from 6 February 2015 and hosting a large number of senior political figures and high-ranking officials from across the globe
