President Barzani and Nawsherwan Mustafa jointly praise Kurdistan

President Massoud Barzani met with the leader of the Gorran (Change) movement party Noshirwan Mustafa for talks that praised the Kurdistan Region and the steadfastness of its citizens under the current circumstances.

 

Their meeting focused on domestic developments and victories achieved by Peshmerga forces including the recent agreement to resolve outstanding issues between Erbil and Baghdad central governments, tensions with the oil and gas disputes and the unity of political parties in Kurdistan.

 

Kurdish unity and a unified voice was the main subject of the meeting. They agreed that the current situation in the Kurdistan Region is temporary and the Kurdistan Regional Government [KRG] will ride out the storm.
