Hawrami receives Romanian Consul-General to Kurdistan

The Head of Kurdistan Democratic Party's foreign relations office Hemin Hawrami received the Consul-General to Erbil, Mr Mihaita Ena, for talks on current developments and diplomatic ties with Romania.

Mr Hawrami conversed with Mr Mr  Ena about President Massoud Barzani week-long trip to the United States where he met Barack Obama and a number of government officials to discuss the fight against ISIS, US support for the Peshmerga and the anticipated operation to liberate Mosul.

In another aspect of their meeting, the two sides spoke about Mr Barzani's current visit to Hungary where it is expected that he will meet Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán on Monday to talk about the political and security situations in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region.
